Lead Youth Guidance Counselor
The Lead Youth Guidance Counselor (also known as Lead Direct Care) is responsible for
modeling and performing leadership to ensure team members are working effectively and
efficiently on the floor. The Lead Youth Guidance Counselors are responsible for implementing
appropriate treatment strategies with the residential clients, timely documentation, psycho-
education groups, and physical activities in a trauma informed manner.
Outpatient Clinician
The Outpatient Clinician will coordinate, implement and supervise all aspects of treatment operations for the agency’s customers including its clients, family members and referral agents. This focus will be primarily on former Inpatient clients and Outpatient clients. This position shall be responsible for the compliance of all treatment records in accordance with Medicaid regulations and accreditation standards. The Outpatient Clinician will seek, with the help of the agency, to become certified for insurance carriers other than Medicaid.
Youth Guidance Counselor
The Youth Guidance Counselor (also referred to as Direct Care) is responsible for providing therapeutic interactions and supervision to youth who are placed at BBH due to emotional and behavioral diagnosis. Under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Cottage Supervisor, Youth Guidance Counselors are responsible for implementing appropriate treatment strategies with the youth, timely documentation, cleaning duties, cooking duties, psycho-educational groups, and physical activities in a Trauma Informed manner.
Residential Clinician
The Residential Clinician will coordinate and supervise all aspects of treatment operations for the agency’s customers including its clients, family members and referral agents. This position shall be responsible for the compliance of all treatment records in accordance with Medicaid regulations and accreditation standards. This position will act as the agency Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Security Officer and oversee safeguards to ensure the privacy of our clients’ protected health information.
